Renewal of backbone LAN system for Fujikura Ltd.

摘要

Recently, lack of bandwidth and performance of conventional FDDI backbone network of Fujikura has become actual problem.Therefore the necessity of renewal of FDDI backbone to the Fast Ethernet system has been increased.We redesigned and reconstructed backbone LAN system in Fujikura Ltd.In this report, we describe new backbone LAN system with Virtual-LAN technology on Fast Ethernet.
