High temperature CO{sub}2 separation

摘要

The total amount of energy consumed on the earth is huge and its consumption often causes various environmental problems. One of the most serious problems is global warming, because CO{sub}2 is a main greenhouse effect gas. It is, therefore,important to separate CO{sub}2 from exhaust gas and to fix or utilize it. A known way of separating CO{sub}2 from exhaust gas at high temperatures involves a membrane separation method and a gas adsorption method. Recently the development of hightemperature separating materials for CO{sub}2 becomes popular. This paper describes the developing stage for high temperature CO{sub}2 separation.
