摘要

The spatial distributions of N, G, and NO densities in an atmospheric-pressure air plasma jet are measured using laser-induced fluorescence (LIF). The three densities show completely different spatial profiles. The gas temperature is also measured using the LIF of NO. These results indicate that the composition of chemical species and the gas temperature strongly depend on the distance from the nozzle. It indicates that the optimum distance between the nozzle and a processing material considerably depends on the process; the optimum distance is determined by the required chemical species and the optimum temperature for the process.
