摘要

Calculations are made of the optimum parameters of windmills as power sources for small private farms in Russia. Cost is taken as the optimization criterion, and the relationship of cost to working wind speed is determined. On this basis, the technical and economic parameters of 4 Russian wind-energy installations are tabulated: the MKB Raduga AO TMZ (1.5 kW), the NPO Vetroen AO Energiya (4 kW), the Enkoris (3 kW), and the AO Dolina (2 kW). The working speeds of these are 6, 9, 8 and 4 m/s respectively. For a small private farm in the Rostov region, the best arrangement would be 2 Raduga units.
