摘要

In recent years, compact planar antennas or microstrip antennas (MSA) are popular over the other conventional antennas in communication and engineering applications because of their versatility, lightweight, conformal nature, low cost, small size and ease of fabrication. However, this antenna has a critical disadvantage that it has extremely low impedance bandwidth. Techniques have been proposed for achieving broadband characteristics. The techniques that are being proposed are low dielectric permittivity of substrate, increased number of used parasitically coupled elements to produce closely multiple resonance of the antenna, and they have been investigated. In this study, the electromagnetic field is calculated by FD-TD Method and we have calculated the characteristics of the antenna such as input impedance, electric and current density distribution pattern.
