A circuit device of 400 V/30 A for suppressing electrical surge and arc ignition

We fabricated a transient current switch (TCS) circuit device for suppressing electrical surge and arc ignition. It was comprised of a ceramic capacitor newly developed in order to increase its ability to suppress electrical surge and arc ignition. It is confirmed that an AC relay (specifications: AC 277 V/48 A) which is connected with the TCS device can perform current interruptions suppressing electrical surge and arc ignition under 400 V/30 A.
