摘要

The Laguerre tessellation can be used for describing polycrystalline structures with approximately convex grains. By introducing a time element this model can be applied to normal grain growth simulations as an alternatively approach to the lattice based Monte Carlo simulation. Different mechanisms of grain growth result in a fixed grain size distribution which is close to the Hillert distribution.
