Automatic pre-positioning and physically based simulation of cloth

Introduction Virtual Try-On (http://www.virtualtryon.de) is a project being carried out in the context of the 《Ideenwettbewerb des Bundesministeriums fur Bildung und Forschung zur Virtuellen und Erweiterten Realitat》. The main objective is the creation of VR methods for virtually selecting and trying on made-to-measure clothes which are generated directly from a 3D scan. Virtual Try-On places great value in an almost realistic cloth simulation which shows the fit of clothes in real-time quality. The project covers the whole process, from the virtualization of the human body to the life-size visualization of the dressed 3D scan.
