Energy-based method for assessing the stress-and elastoplastic strain concentration

摘要

The most commonly encountered relationships used in the determination of stressconcentration and elastoplastic strain-concentration factors are analyzed from the energy standpoint. The energy-based method for assessing the concentration effect isproposed and verified experimentally. The results of calculation of the stress concentration factors using the known methods are compared with those obtained using the method proposed. The applicability of the latter is shown for practical calculations.
