Method for Stress State analysis of GTE thick-walled shells from composite materials

Methodical aspects of the calculation of thick-walled shells from composite GTE materi-als are considered. The calculation procedure is developed for circular elements of nonsmall curvature and unfastened short shells, with the bending moment applied to the left end and the normal pressure at the median surface. The applicability limits of the theory of thick-walled shells are set based on the results obtained.
