A concept of knowledge-based identification of nonlinear systems

A general approach combining both analytical and knowledge-based techniques to identify a nonlinear system model is proposed, with knowledge being considered within Saridis' theory of intelligent machines; and an extension of the dispersionalfunction approach involving knowledge in the above sense is derived.
