Load-Carrying Capacity of Structural Elements Having a Macrocrack

摘要

We suggest a new variant of the #epsilon#_#theta#-criterion in crack mechanics and a method of its approximation. The theoretical results are correlated with the corresponding experimental data of other authors. We solved a problem on the load-carrying capacity of the rectangular plate with the central inclined crack under the effect of uniformly distributed uniaxial tension forces.
