An information filtering method for XML documents using element names and document structure

Recently, many kinds of information are presented over the network such as the Internet. If users have Wearable Computer, users can get information anywhere at any time. In this situation, however, users have some problems because they can get huge information. To solve these problems, we have to propose a method to select information which users want automatically with information filtering system. Furthermore, XML (Extensible Markup Language) is tend to be used for data exchange and data broadcast. In this paper, we assume data is described with XML, and we propose a filtering method of XML documents considering structures and contents of XML documents.
