摘要

We developed a 2D-SPR (Surface Plasmon Resonance) measuring instrument to image arrays of biological samples in small reaction cells. Using parallel light irradiation of area of measurement, we could measure the distribution of refractive index on the gold thin films on which the samples were placed. Using this instrument, we successfully imaged the flow of the sample and variation in the polymer film thickness. We also imaged electrochemical biosensor films, which demonstrated the instrument's ability to detect biological samples. In the application of a SPR measuring instrument to biosensors, the miniaturization of the instrument and a multichannel measurement capability are very desirable characteristics.
