摘要

Interconnecting surviving multi-vendor optical transport networks in disaster area is a cost-efficient approach to disaster recovery. In this paper we introduce a three-stage migration scenario of emergency optical networks in disaster recovery from the beginning to the end of network recovery. We propose two corresponding sub-schemes in network operation: (1) a network construction scheme which enables both the smooth interconnection at beginning and the smooth separation at the final stage of emergency optical networks; (2) an optimization scheme selecting the highest priority links for repair and interconnection which enables the cost-efficient disaster recovery. Demonstration with a two-vendor prototype test-bed and simulations are performed to verify the proposal, and gain experiences for people in disaster recovery.
