摘要

The processes taking place during the oxidation and refining phases in a 10 t AOD converter have been documented. The investigation covers different charges for the manufacture of high-chromium steel. The rate of chromium slagging during the oxidation period depends on the mode of oxygen supply and the oxygen distribution via nozzles. The use of thee nozzles, instead of two, generally provides some improvement.
