摘要

This study was carried out to develop precision direct drill seeder with controls of seed depth for direct sowing of rice on paddy field. This performance will exert influence on stable germination by decreasing inappropriate germination (surface seedling, floating seedling, lodging seedling). The seeding performance of the developed machine and the rice growth process were analyzed in the farmers' and experimental fields located in a total of 14 domestic areas for two years (1997, 1998). The results showed that the developed machine achieved high performance, such as high accuracy seeding depth control, two-stage depth control with the new furrow-opener and a high rate of work. Therefore the growth process was stable every year.
