DEVELOPMENT OF AN AFTER-SALES SUPPORT INTER-ENTERPRISE COLLABORATION SYSTEM USING INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES

摘要

The objects of most manufacturing support systems using information technologies such as the remote maintenance system are usually machine tools depending on individual machine tool vendors. Therefore, this research discusses a manufacturing support system, which contains not only maintenance services but also consulting services with inter-enterprise collaboration by engineering companies and machine too! vendors for manufacturing systems consisting of multi-vendor machine tools. The manufacturing support system is called "After-Sales Support Inter-enterprise collaboration System using information Technologies" (ASSIST). This paper describes a concept for the planned ASSIST project, the development of a prototype of the system and operation results of the system.
