Site-specific natural isotope abundance determination by ~2H-NMR and the ERETIC method.Deuterium site-specific natural isotope abundance(A_i)is routfnely measured by NMR spectroscopy(SNIF-NMR).This study suggests substituting the reference by an electronically generated signal:the ERETIC method.Measurements of A_i on five ethanol samples have been performed using either a chemical compound(TMU),or ERETIC.No significant difference between the two methods has been found.The signal-to-noise ratio was increased by a factor of 1.6 and the internal reference drawbacks have been removed.To cite this article:F.Le Grand,S.Akoka,C.R.Chimie 7(2004).
