Supramolecular associations of anionic and cationic octupoles

In this communication,we describe the first attempts for supramolecular associations between cationic and anionic octupolar derivatives.To this end,the synthesis and second-order non-linear optical(NLO)activity of new classes of anionic octupolar compounds will be reported and we will try to estimate the effect of the anion/cation association on the NLO activity of the resulting supramolecule.
