摘要

Magnetic hyperthermia or thermoablation using small magnetic particles is a new approach of non-surgical treatment to cancer. Many researches on the heat generation with using magnetic fluids consisting of superparamagnetic iron oxide (SPIO) particles have been carried out. Large specific loss power (SLP) can be expected when the drive frequency matches well with the relaxation condition of the SPIO. On the other hand, hysteresis-loss heating using fine ferromagnetic particles is devoid of restrictions such as particle size and driving frequency.
