Formation of a Structure in Eutectic Alloys of a Chromium with Carbide Cr23C6 and Carbides of TVa-Group Metals

Eutectic's formation in alloys of the quasi-binary sections between Cr and TiC, ZrC, HfC, and in theCr-C binary system are studied by the method of scanningelectron microscopy. It is established that eutectics are of thefaceted -nonfaceted type. The morphological peculiarities are discussed.
