A method of recovering the net of the grain boundaries on the images of polished sections of polycrystal materials is proposed. The method takes into account the pretense of defects and uncertainty of the boundary sections. The method is based on the morphological transformation of the images and analysis of the boundaries and areas of the particles. The method is realized on an automated complex for image analysis SIAMS-600. the effect of distortions and grain structure anisotropy on the quality of recovering is evaluated.
