Preparations DAFS-25 and flavomycin in compound feeds for pigs.

Data were obtained on 3 groups each of 12 pigs allowed feed supplements from day 60 to day 150 as follows: (1) plain compound feed - controls; (2) 120 g flavomycin/t diet; (3) 160 g diaceto-phenonylselenide/t. For the 3 groups respectively, body weight averaged 12.8, 12.8 and 12.8 kg at the beginning of the experiment and 27.9, 28.9 and 29.8 kg at the end, daily gain 336, 358 and 378 g, and the consumption of feed per kg gain 3.69, 3.46 and 3.28 kg.
