Heavy Lifting With Air Hoists

J.D. Neuhaus helps place turbine on offshore platform In the Southern North Sea, Gerritsen On- & Offshore Services BV recently handled a routine turbine maintenance procedure on an offshore location. The project involved four of their personnel using an air-operated hoist unit from J.D. Neuhaus (JDN) to handle a turbine lift load of 26,455 lb. (12,000 kg). The turbine powers a gas-compressor and supplies power, steam and other general services to the platform.
