摘要

The forest litter was subdivided into dize fractions and the composition of fraction was determined. Roo-ts, fragments of wood, and dead needles prevail in large-size fraction. The conter of detrius increses with decreasing fraction size. The geostatistic method of constructing the curves of the semivariance of properties versus the characteristic distance was applied .The semivariance demonstrated a nonmon-otonous increases because of the tessera and parcella structure of phytocenosis. The semivariance f large-size fractions is high and sometimes stochastic. The semivariance of small-size fractions is low as all characteristic distances. It is enough to consider only the thickness of forest when estimating its sorption capacity.
