The hydroformylation of higher olefins was studied in the presence of fluorous-soluble triphenylphosphite derivatives-modified rhodium catalyst at 80 deg C and 40 bar of CO/H_2 (1:1) in an olefin/C_8H_17H mixture solvent that forms a homogeneous liquid phase at high temperature. Activities up to 10 000 h~(-1) and normal to branched aldehyde ratio (n/i) up to 5.8 were obtained. The possibility to recover the catalytic system was also investigated from conservative recycling experiments.
