The main results of biogeocenotic investigations and agroforestry in the semidesert zone of the northern Caspian region

The contribution of detailed fifty-year-long biogeocenotic investigations at the Dzhanybek Research Station to soil science, forestry, forest growing in arid conditions, and silvicultural amelioration of croplands is described.
