Synthesis of a chiral asymmetrical NCN ligand and its metallation

摘要

A three-step synthesis of a chiral asymmetrical NCN ligand is described. Chirality was introduced at the level of the asymmetrical hydrogen transfer on the starting acetophenone. Metallation by a ruthenium(II) complex, lithium followed by trans-auration led to valuable compounds.
