Activation of the defensive response to Fusarium graminearum in winter wheat

Effects of metabolically active substances and Fusarium graminearum on the protein-proteinase and the carbohydrate complexes of winter wheat have been studied. Changes in the proteinase-inhibitor system, as well as in the carbohydrate complex and the protein complex, induced by the metabolically active substances or the pathogen, depend on the resistance of wheat cultivars to fusariose and play a defensive role in the development of phytoimmunity.
