摘要

A rapid method for assessing changes in the fractional composition of fuel oil caused by its biodegradation by various microorganisms in liquid medium was designed. This method is based on a modified procedure of regression of principal components of Fourier-transform infrared spectra of fuel oil samples before and after treatment with microorganisms. The spectra of initial fuel oil and its fractions-were compared. The fractions were obtained by liquid column chromatography. This method was used for selecting groups of microorganisms sharing similar patterns of fuel oil degradation.
