Shared Aperture Transparent MIMO Antenna with Multi-band Capability

摘要

Nowadays a variety of antennas are installed on the smart phone due to progress on mobile communication technologies. On the other hand, the body may be made by metallic material for light weight and thin thickness. Therefore, it becomes difficult to house antennas in the body. In this report, we propose a shared aperture multiband 4-element array antenna made by the transparent conductivity sheet. Several characteristics for multiband diversity antenna such as VSWR, spatial correlation, and directivity have been examined by IE.3D electromagnetic simulator.
