摘要

In cellular system, it is known base staion (BS) cooperation (BSC) mitigates the performance degradation in cell edge where user terminals (UTs) are suffered from the attenuation of signal from the target BS and severe interferences from adjacent cells. In this report, fundamental investigation on further performance improvement by participation of amplified and forward (AF) relays in the cooperation is carried out based on the system equipped with multiantennas. Several cooperation schemes are investigated using 3-cell model and it is shown that the better characteristics could be achieved by introducing relay cooperation.
