摘要

For the DOA estimation, this paper considers application of 2D-ESPRIT to triangular antenna arrays which are popularly used because of their azimuth-independent performance. In genera], the multi-dimensional ESPRIT needs the pairing method to join the estimated signal parameters, and some effective methods such as CP, SSD and MEVD have been proposed. However, 2D-ESPRIT cannot utilize the CP which is the simplest one, and so it must employ SSD of great computational load or MEVD with the reliability test. Therefore, this paper proposes CMEVD which has less computational load and requires no reliability test. Computer simulation results in 2D-DOA estimation using the triangular antenna array show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
