Western Wyoming Community College (WWCC) Gas Compression Technology Program Trains Students to Meet Gas Compression Industry Heeds. Western Wyoming Community College's (WWCC) Compression Technology Lab, equipped with four gas engines, seven compressors and the ability to operate compressors in a closed loop, is a centerpiece of WWCC's Gas Compression Technology Program. Students in the program, which was established in 2007, receive a combination of classroom lecture and hands-on training, which both the college and industry partners have determined will provide graduates with the skills necessary to fill some of the many industry positions available for qualified compressor specialists.
