Centrifugal Pumps Used As Recovery Turbines: Andritz's centrifugal pump line expands after Ritz acquisition

Andritz AG, an Austrian pump and turbine specialist, has more than 100 years of experience in designing and manufacturing centrifugal pumps for use in the offshore oil and gas, power, mining and chemical industries. Andritz ACT and FPT series pumps are used as recovery turbines in small hydropower plants or to supply energy to mountain refuges and forest lodges. These centrifugal pumps can use drinking water, residual and waste water as well as pulp suspension in the pulp and paper industry. The pumps range up to 80 m in height, with flow rates up to 0.8 m~3/s for the ACT series and 6 m~3/s for the FPT series, and can reach a power output up to 400 kW (ACT series) and 2.5 MW (FPT series).
