Construction of anode unit of soderberg electrolyzers of large capacity using 《DRY》 anode

摘要

Results of testing of anode unit of Soderbergelectrolyzers of large capacity with spending shell arepresented. These testings showed that usage of spending shellallows to apply 《dry》anode mass at electrolyzers with topcurrent input without laminations, scores and caves. Anodeshell of new design allows to mount stationary the system ofautomatic alumina feed what will increase the system's stability.
