Repeated row-column designs with split units

摘要

The paper presents an experimental design developing from the previously discussed incomplete row-column design with a split-plot structure. The randomization procedure and model building are the starting point of the paper. It is followed by an analysis of the linear mixed model and the experiment planning. The Nelder (1965) approach connected with the notion of the general balance of multistratum designed experiments is adopted in the analysis. Statistical properties of the proposed design are examined in an example given in the last part of the paper.
