Modern metallurgy has a row of aluminium alloys for rather complete satisfying the requirements in wire for cables of different usage. Russian aluminium and cable industry has the real prospect to master the production of electrotechnical wire from aluminium alloys in required volumes, in order to prevent replacing this requirement by the import.
