摘要

Multinational criteria for stability of steel arch bridge were analyzed. Inadequacies of criteria were discussed briefly. According to multinational criteria, the influence of rise to span ratio on in-plane critical flexure load, and rise to span ratio, the ratio y of the length of the arch part stiffened by lateral braces to the total length of the arch rib and arch rib spacing affecting on the out-of-plane critical flexure load were studied by employing a steel arch bridge. The results show that due to the different assumptions in multinational criteria, the parameters of rise to span ratio, y -value and arch rib spacing has different influence on in-plane and out-of-plane critical flexure load, respectively.
