摘要

This report studies reflection and transmission of a TM plane wave from a 2D random thin film by means of the stochastic functional approach. A stochastic equation is derived from Helmholtz's equation and the boundary condition with D~a-Fourier transformation. By applying the multiply renormalizing approximation to such a stochastic equation, a generalized form of the random wavefield representation is explicitly shown in terms of a Wiener-Hermite expansion. Any statistical quantities are obtained by an averaging operation, such as the coherent coefficients of reflection and transmission, the incoherent scattering cross sections and the optical theorem.
