鰭脚類の資源利用を考える

摘要

Various parts of pinnipeds, for example meat, blubber and hides,had been used as subsistence or commercial products. However commercial hunting of pinnipeds was decayed in Japan, the control of population and harmful animals has become an important tool under management of pinnipeds in new age. Use of pinnipeds as resources is expected not only to reduce the cost of waste disposal but also to benefit from the products. Furthermore, it will contribute to secure the catching effort for the effective management.
