挟み込み法によるヒジキ養殖技術の確立と種苗生産技術開発

Hiziki, Sargassum fusiforme, has been traditionally used as food in Japan. However, over 80% of thedomestic demand is supplied by imports from Korea and China. Domestic Hiziki has become increasingly importantin recent years due to the natural food boom and the mandatory indication of origin of products. In the present study,cultivation of Hiziki was tested by clipping natural seedlings between culture ropes. In addition, artificial seedlingproduction and cultivation of Hiziki were also investigated by cultivating chopped filamentous roots removed fromholdfasts.
