スナメリの科学的資源管理に向けて

摘要

Fin-less porpoises has been protected everywhere in Japan under the act on the protection of fishery resources 1951. Through current achievement in population studies on the species, their stock status are different by local populations; most of them have attained possible sustainable level while one local stock such as in the Ariake bay. For an appropriate management for fin-less porpoises, it is expected that we should explore more scientific manner based on modern analytical estimators. The present paper proposes one of ideas for this.
