東海地方における力ワウの現状と研究

摘要

It is important to investigate the ecological characters of Great Cormorant Phalacrocorax carbo in Tokai area, Japan for their management and conservation, because 60% of Great Cormorants in Japan inhabit in this area. In this paper, we described about changes in the distribution and abundance, breeding performance, food habits, thyroid hyperplasia which is indicator of effects of dioxin on wild birds, the coexistence history with the cormorants and implication of managements and conservation of Great Cormorants.
