摘要

Experimental examinations of electromagnetic properties were made in the frequencies from microwaves to millimeter waves for the various materials used as walls or ceilings of offices inside as well as conventional absorbers and shielding materials. The evaluation of the materials were made from the viewpoints of electromagnetic absorption and shieldingFrom the measurement results, it is confirmed that the materials for walls and ceilings do not show any significant effects of absorption and shielding up to 100 GHz. The absorbers for microwaves such as carbon-impregnated foamed plastics and ferrite/rubber mixtures give great effects to the shielding in millimeter waves.
