The power loss in Ni-Zn ferrite is analyzed and compared with that in Mn-Zn ferrites. Otsuki et al~([1]). proposed a method by which power loss(P_(cv)) is divided into hysteresis loss(P_h), eddy current loss(P_e) and residual loss(P_r). Alternatively, Visser et al~([2]) divided P_(cv) into loss factors that are attributed to domain wall motion(P_w) and rotation magnetization(P_(rot)). In this study, both approaches are applied to analyze P_(cv) in Ni-Zn ferrite.
