A few years have passed since the issue of the harmonic currents drew attention, and since a harmonic-currents regulation has been applied to some electronic equipment. The active filter system is one way to adopt this regulation. Though this system is quit successful for to counter harmonic currents and the power factor correction, it has a problem that requires reinforce the circuit of noise filter due to the necessity of the switching device.The dual mode choke coil, which we have developed, which is effective not only for normal mode noise by only one dual mode choke coil but also for reinforcing the circuit of the noise filter.
