The principle of operation of magnetic system for iron scrap extraction out of the pulp stream is examined; this system is located at the section of mill discharge. High technical and economical results obtained during technological testings of magnetic system in the comminution cycle at the concentration plant of "Erdenet" JSC allowed to conclude about expediency of equipping all mills of the plant with such units.
