摘要

Mixing time of a spherical bath agitated by bottom gas injection was measured in the presence of a swirl motion of the deep water wave type. The mixing time was shorter than that of a cylindrical bath because the so-called dead zone was absent in the spherical bath. An empirical equation was proposed for the mixing time.
